Hernandez scored twice in Friday's Sun Belt Conference opener versus Texas State, giving her club a two-goal lead over the Bobcats in a match that ended in a 2-2 draw. The senior midfielder struck first just a minute-and-a-half into the contest when she deposited Lauren Allison's low cross and doubled the Jaguar advantage at the 15-minute mark when her left-footed one-timer snuck into the upper-left 90.  Hernandez now has four goals on the year and three in her last two home matches.
