Jacobs did not lose a set in three singles matches at the Georgia State Fall Invitational and went unbeaten in doubles action as well.  He lost just two games total in his final two matches, defeating Marco Osorio of Georgia Southern 6-0, 6-1 and Eric Baum of Georgia State 6-1, 6-0.  In Jacobs' opener, he earned a 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) victory over Nebraska's Tom Blackwell.  Jacobs and Gerhard Gruindelingh went 2-0 in doubles action, claiming wins over teams from Nebraska (8-5) and Georgia Southern (8-4).
