Johnson, having already competed in four different positions this season, again displayed her versatility this week, batting .444 and delivering a two-RBI double against No. 23 Florida State on Wednesday, giving South Alabama half its game total in the third inning, before hitting a walk-off home run in game one of the Jaguars’ Staurday doubleheader against North Texas, spurring the hosts on to a 12-1, run-rule victory in the second leg to sweep. The sophomore extended her hit and reached-base streaks to 10 apiece with her performances this week.
