Johnson continued her streak of dominant performances at the Arkansas State Invitational Friday, breaking her own school record in the women’s shot put for the third consecutive meet to start the 2013 season. Johnson’s toss of 14.94m won her individual honors in the event, besting the next best mark in the field of 22 by 1.63m. She currently ranks first in the conference in the event. Johnson also finished third (18.20m) in the 20-pound weight throw for yet another top-five finish.
