Rubit recorded two double-doubles to lead the Jaguars to their first three-game win streak of the season, averaging 16.0 points and 11.5 rebounds in the two games while posting his 10th and 11th double-doubles of the season; he converted 50.0 percent from the floor and blocked five shots. Rubit shot 7 of 12 from the field for 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the Jags’ 65-57 win over Western Kentucky Thursday, blocking a game-high four shots -- one shy of his career best -- and two steals. He followed that up with game-high totals of 13 points and 12 rebounds as USA rallied from a six-point deficit late in the second half Sunday to defeat FIU. Rubit ranks first in the conference in rebounding (10.9) and second in scoring
(19.1) and double-doubles.
