Nixon helped the Lady Jags remain perfect and improve to 3-0 this season as USA defeated Tennessee State Monday and Southern Miss on Friday.  Nixon led South Alabama in the scoring on both occasions, posting 16 points in the TSU victory and following up with 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting against the Golden Eagles.  The senior guard also added seven rebounds and three assists, while recording a career-best four steals in the second game; her baseline basket with one minute, 21 seconds remaining stretched USA’s lead out to four and proved to be the game-winning basket.
