Leitner went 3-1 in singles--including a win over a nationally ranked opponent--and 2-1 in doubles at the Crimson Tide Fall Championships. He advanced to the quarterfinals of the main draw before losing in three sets to eventual third-place finisher Becker O'Shaughnessy of Alabama, and earned his fifth-place spot after defeating No. 59 Daniil Proskura 6-4, 2-6, (11-9). The win over Proskura is his first victory over a top-100 opponent. In doubles, Leitner paired with Blake Gregor to reach the finals of the Gene Stallings Draw. Leitner and Gregor outlasted teams from Auburn and Tulane in tiebreakers, but fell in the championship 8-6 to a team from Alabama. Leitner has a team-best nine singles victories this fall and is a combined 6-2 in doubles.
