Martin went unbeaten in six combined singles and doubles matches last weekend at the Panther Fall Opener Tournament. She won all three of her singles matches in straight sets, including a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Mariya Toncheva of Eastern Michigan. She also defeated Nina Djordjevic of FIU 6-0, 7-5 and Nino Mebuke of EMU 6-2, 7-6. In doubles, Martin and partner Emily Newton lost just six games total in three wins. They finished off two opponents from EMU 8-1 and 8-0 and topped Giuletta Boha and Rita Maisak of FIU 8-5.
