Lawson was part of a unit that broke the school-record in the distance medley relay at the Vulcan Invitational this weekend, and was also fifth (third among collegians) in the 3,00-meter run a day later.  The DMR team posted a school-record time of 12:05.46 Friday to finish second in the race, just over five seconds behind Mississippi State but almost 30 in front of third-place Georgia Tech.  On Saturday, she moved up to third place on the school's all-time performance list in the 3,000 meters after crossing the line in 10:00.49.
