Ammons came off the bench to record 15 points and nine rebounds in his collegiate debut Saturday against Mississippi State. Ammons shot 6-of-9 from the floor and made his only 3-point attempt for the game. He shared team-high honors in rebounds with teammate Augustine Rubit, blocked a shot and nabbed a steal. In the Jaguars' exhibition game Tuesday against Dillard, Ammons tallied a team-high 17 points and seven rebounds, including four on the offensive glass.
