QUOTES
Head Coach Mark Calvi
- On the offense:
"We didn't do enough offensively today. We hit some balls hard, but didn't hit enough. We had some of our main guys up with chances to get a two-out hit, but unfortunately we didn't get it done today."
- On Tyler Carr and Jared Proctor:
"It was a great effort out of Tyler (Carr) and (Jared) Proctor. Both of them were really good. We just forced the guys to be fine today, and Troy played a little bit longer in this game than we did. They had better at-bats and we didn't have competitive enough at-bats across the board. We just weren't competitive enough in the batter's box, and that's disappointing."
- On what he is looking for from the team in the series finale:
"It's been too Jekyll and Hyde; we've been good offensively, then good, then bad. We just need to be consistent, and the guys we count on to be guys need to be guys.Â
