THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Terry Fowler
On the loss on Senior Day: "We had the wide open three by Genesis [Perrymond] it didn't fall and then Savannah's [Jones] didn't fall. It was an even game. We played really well at their [Louisiana's] place when we are both pretty evenly matched. We were tied to start the fourth quarter. The game was back-and-forth. We had every opportunity to win the ball game."
On Antoinette Lewis' play: "She has really settled in as a true-freshman. She's been getting really comfortable, feeling what the defense is giving her, finishing at the basket and really putting the pressure on the defense."
On Georgia Southern: "They are playing younger players right now. Senior Sierra Butler, who played against us earlier in the season, got a concussion. They are playing a bunch of freshman and sophomores and are a young basketball team. They the ability to shoot and score the basketball well. We have to dominate them on the boards and the defensive end of the floor."
