MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama women's basketball head coach Terry Fowler has finalized the dates for his three girls' basketball camps in June. The Team Play Dates will be on June 8th, 9th and 23rd, FUNdamentals and Shooting Camp will run from June 19th-22nd and College Prep Came will take place on June 24th.
 
The Team Play Dates are for varsity and JV Teams, and all three days will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 7:00 p.m. With three games minimum, they will be 20 minute running halves, and the clock will stop in the last two minutes of the game. A "special situations" segment will happen directly after each game.
 
The FUNdamental and Shooting Camp will teach the basic fundamentals needed to play basketball for third-eighth graders. Footwork, shooting, ball-handling, passing and playing within team concepts along with competitive situations are thoroughly covered throughout the week of camp. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will run from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., and Thursday will end early at noon.
 
College Prep Camp will give any player in grades nine-12 an opportunity to experience the effort, energy and focus needed to consistently compete on the college level. This camp is designed for those who aspire to play at the collegiate level. The camp will start at 1:00 p.m. and end at 5:00 p.m.
 
All three camps will be at the Striplin Practice Facilty located next to the Mitchell Center and be directly run by Fowler along with his coaching staff. The Jag players will serve as camp counselors.
