WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TO TRAVEL TO TULANE FOR CHARITY GAME

MOBILE, Ala. —The University of South Alabama women's basketball will play in an exhibition game at Tulane next Sunday at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse.

The game is set for a 6 p.m. tip and all proceeds will go to the American Red Cross for hurricane relief efforts.

All general admission tickets are $5 at the door and a portion of the revenue from concessions will be donated as well.

"Living here on the Gulf Coast, I understand what going through a hurricane feels like and I'm thankful to be a part of this Hurricane Relief Effort Game in conjunction with Tulane University," USA head coach Terry Fowler said. "It's a great opportunity to play a quality opponent, but this game is bigger than us and that's what makes it special."

The Jaguars lead the all-time series with the Green Wave 12-8, with the last meeting between the two squads occurring in New Orleans during the 2010-11 season.
