NEW ORLEANS – The University of South Alabama women's basketball team will be televised five times and the men's team four times throughout the 2016-17 season as part of the league's television package, the Sun Belt Conference announced on Thursday.  
 
South Alabama's SBC doubleheaders at Georgia State (Jan. 7), vs. Georgia Southern (Jan. 28) and at Troy (Feb. 4) will all air on ESPN3. The women's games at Georgia Southern (Jan. 5) and Arkansas State (Jan. 19), and the corresponding men's game on Jan. 23 against the Red Wolves, respectively, will also be shown on ESPN3.
 
The men's home game vs. Georgia State on Jan. 30 will be televised on the American Sports Network, as well as ESPN3.
 
Member institutions will deliver 92 men's and women's basketball on-campus productions on ESPN3 this season as part of an increased commitment to student and faculty managed live-game production on Sun Belt campuses.
