MOBILE, Ala. – For the second consecutive year, the 20-game 2015-16 Sun Belt Conference men's and women's basketball schedule will be played as doubleheaders as announced by the league office on Monday.

Every school except Appalachian State will be paired with a travel partner and will alternate home and road weekends.

The Jaguars start the conference season with home games against Arkansas-Little Rock (Dec. 30) and Arkansas State (Jan. 2), before going to Georgia Southern (Jan. 7) and Georgia State (Jan. 9).

Next, South Alabama returns home for contests with Texas State (Jan. 14) and Texas-Arlington (Jan. 16) and goes to Louisiana-Lafayette (Jan. 21) and Louisiana-Monroe (Jan. 23).

The Jaguars' lone contest the following week is at home vs. Appalachian State (Jan. 30). The next week, they travel to Arkansas State (Feb. 4) and UALR (Feb. 6).

Georgia State (Feb. 11) and Georgia Southern (Feb. 13) come to Mobile prior to the Jags' home clash against Troy (Feb. 16) and a road trip to Appalachian State (Feb. 18).

USA closes the month of February with its final two home games of the season against Louisiana-Monroe (Feb. 25) and Louisiana-Lafayette (Feb. 27), and finish the year on the road at Texas-Arlington (March 3) and Texas State (March 5).

The Sun Belt Tournament will be held March 9-13 in New Orleans, La.

South Alabama's game at Troy has yet to the scheduled by the two schools.
