EUGENE, Ore. – University of South Alabama Track & Field's Emilie Berge received honorable mention all-American designation Saturday with a 19th-place finish in the heptathlon at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships. She scored a total of 5,314 points over the two-day event.

-Berge picked up 638 points with a 12th-place finish in the javelin. She improved with each throw, ending with a third-round effort of 38.49m (126-03.25).
-The sophomore finished 19th in the long jump competition with a 5.37m (17-07.50) (-1.1) mark on her second of three attempts. She earned 663 points in the event. Â
-She ran the 800m in 2:22.05, finishing third in her heat and 12th overall to claim 796 points.
