NEW ORLEANS – Kickoff times and television coverage were announced for three University of South Alabama football games by the Sun Belt Conference office and ESPN on Thursday.
The Jaguars' first two home games of 2018 — Saturday, Sept. 1 against Louisiana Tech and Saturday, Sept. 15 versus Texas State — will both start at 6 p.m. (CDT) at Ladd-Peebles Stadium and be televised on ESPN+.  The opener will mark the program's debut under the direction of first-year head coach Steve Campbell, while the latter is South's league opener this fall.
In addition, the Jags' Tuesday, Oct. 23 matchup with rival Troy in the "Battle For The Belt" will kick off at 7 p.m. Â It was previously announced that the contest would air on ESPN2.
More schedule information, including non-conference away game times and networks, will be released as it becomes available.
