INDIANAPOLIS – The University of South Alabama men's tennis pairing of Loic Cloes and Clement Marzol have been selected as the Sun Belt Conference's automatic qualifier for the NCAA Men's Doubles Tournament Wednesday.
The pairing was ranked No. 53 by the ITA in the latest doubles rankings on April 22 and have an 18-5 record, while going 13-3 in duals this season. Marzol and Cloes are 2-1 against nationally ranked opponents.
The doubles tournament will be held at Wake Forest University on May 23-28. The No. 1 seed in the doubles tournament is Mississippi State's Nuno Borges and Strahinja Rakic.
The official bracket has not been released and the matchup for Cloes and Marzol will be announced when it is made available.
