NEW ORLEANS – University of South Alabama women's basketball's Chyna Ellis was named the Sun Belt Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week (Jan. 23), as announced by the league office on Tuesday. This is Ellis' second Player of the Week honor of the season and her career. She is the first Jag women's basketball player to garner multiple SBC Player of the Week awards in a season since Sarda Peterson won the award on Jan. 16 and Feb. 6 of 2012.
