All-Time Series
South Alabama holds a 68-13 all-time lead over Little Rock in a series that began in 1992. The Jaguars have won four straight series over the Trojans dating back to 2013. USA swept a three-game series from Little Rock last season at Stanky Field, including a doubleheader sweep to close the series, and defeated the Trojans 6-4 in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament in San Marcos, Texas. USA is 13-4 against Little Rock under head coach Mark Calvi, and has won six straight meetings in the series.

Last Time Out
USA swept Texas State in a three-game Sun Belt Conference series at Stanky Field last weekend to extend its conference winning streak to five games. Right-hander Randy Bell tossed his first complete game of the season in last weekend's series opener, while right-handed reliever Matt Peacock earned his sixth save of the year in game two of the Texas State series, and picked up his second win of the season in the series finale. 

On Little Rock
The Trojans dropped two of three games at Georgia Southern last weekend, winning the series opener but falling in the final two games of the series. The Eagles outscored the Trojans 14-2 over the final two contests. Little Rock has dropped six of its last seven Sun Belt Conference games. The Trojans are 4-16 on the road this season, and have lost seven of their last nine road games dating back to the March 25 loss at Louisiana-Monroe.

JAGS IN NATIONAL RANKINGS
South Alabama enters the series as the nation's leader in walks (281), and ranks sixth nationally in on-base percentage (.414), ninth in runs scored (364), 10th in runs per game (8.1) and sacrifice flies (27) and 29th in home runs (49).

LABOUNTY, SWAGGERTY IN NATIONAL RANKINGS
Shortstop Drew LaBounty ranks second nationally in walks per game (1.05), and 10th in walks (39). Center fielder Travis Swaggerty enters the weekend ranked 13th nationally in on-base percentage (.495).

JAGS AT STANKY FIELD 
USA enters the weekend 14-4 in 18 games at Stanky Field this season, and has won six of its last seven home contests dating back to a 4-3 win over No. 26 Coastal Carolina on April 15 in the series finale. The Jags are batting .313 with 36 doubles, five triples, 10 home runs, 150 RBI, 173 runs scored, 30 stolen bases and a team on-base percentage of .465 in 18 home games. Travis Swaggerty leads the team with a .404 batting average at Stanky Field, followed by Wells Davis at .357.

TWO OR FEWER TO WIN
USA is 11-1 when allowing two or fewer runs, but is 17-16 when surrendering three or more. The Jags allowed three or more runs in each of their three wins over Texas State last weekend.

LEADING AFTER SEVEN
USA is 23-1 when leading after seven innings this season, but is 1-12 when trailing and 3-4 when tied after seven frames. 

TWO-OUT RBI
Of USA's 328 team RBI, 126 have come with two outs which accounts for 38 percent of the Jaguars' team RBI total. Travis Swaggerty leads the squad with 17 two-out RBI this season, while Jared Barnes ranks second with 14.

JAG OFFENSE LEADS THE SUN BELT CONFERENCE 
South Alabama enters the series as the Sun Belt Conference leader in batting average (.298), slugging percentage (.458), on-base percentage (.414), runs scored (364), RBI (328), total bases (698), walks (281) and sacrifice flies (27), and ranks second in the league in hits (454) and home runs (49). 

JAGS WITH BASES LOADED
South Alabama is hitting .494 (38-for-77) with the bases loaded this season, led by Travis Swaggerty who has seven hits and is hitting .636 with the bags full of Jags. USA has hit six grand slams this season, led by Eddie Paparella with two, following Jared Barnes' game-winning grand slam on April 11 at New Orleans.

RUNNERS IN SCORING POSITION
The Jags are batting .321 (165-for-514) with runners in scoring position.Travis Swaggerty leads the team with 20 hits with RISP. The Jags hit .282 (11-for-39) with runners in scoring position in last weekend's three-game series with Texas State.

TEN OR MORE RUNS
USA is 11-1 when scoring 10 or more runs this season and 22-7 when scoring six or more, but is 6-10 when scoring five or less. 

EARLY/LATE-INNING RUN PRODUCTION
South Alabama has outscored the opposition 41-13 in the first inning and 28-5 in the ninth inning this season. USA has allowed more runs (42) in the third inning than any other inning this season.

JAG BATS LAST WEEK
South Alabama hit .283 with eight doubles, two home runs, 26 RBI, 31 runs scored and six stolen bases in four games last week in which it went 3-1. Colton Thomas led the team with a .500 batting average (4-for-8), while Drew LaBounty led the team in RBI (6) in those four contests.

ON-BASE, HITTING STREAKS
Sophomore outfielder Dylan Hardy carries a career-best 20-game on-base streak into the series opener, while shortstop Drew LaBounty has reached safely in 12 straight contests. Catcher Jared Barnes carries a team-best eight-game hitting streak into the weekend, followed by LaBounty who has hit safely in six consecutive games.

SWAGGERTY LEADING THE SUN BELT
Outfielder Travis Swaggerty enters the weekend as the Sun Belt Conference leader in batting average (.373) and on-base percentage (.495), ranks second in RBI (43), tied for second in stolen bases (17), third in slugging percentage (.576) and tied for fourth in runs scored (40) and hits (59).

BELL AMONG LEAGUE LEADERS
Right-handed pitcher Randy Bell enters Friday's start as the Sun Belt Conference leader in strikeouts looking (30). Bell ranks tied for second in the league in fewest walks allowed (13), third in innings pitched (73.2) and tied for fourth in total strikeouts (74).

HUSTON IN SBC RANKINGS
Left-hander Thomas Huston enters the weekend ranked tied for fourth in the conference in wins (5), tied for 11th in innings pitched (62.2) and 14th in ERA (3.45) and opposing batting average (.247).

PEACOCK'S LAST SEVEN APPEARANCES
After allowing a season-high three runs at Southeastern Louisiana on April 1, right-hander Matt Peacock has gone 2-1 with three saves in seven appearances, and has allowed just three earned runs on 12 hits in 18 innings pitched with a 1.50 ERA and 21 strikeouts against six walks in that span. Peacock has not allowed a run in 11 of his 17 appearances this season.
