“INSIDE JAGNATION” — SOUTH ALABAMA ATHLETICS PODCAST — EPISODE 38

MOBILE, Ala. – Destin Vicknair — one of two seniors on the University of South Alabama softball team — is the guest this week on the official podcast of the Jaguar Department of Athletics, "Inside JagNation."

In the episode, the native of Reserve, La., talks about what the Jags need to do leading up to next month's Sun Belt Conference Tournament, how she prepares for a start in the circle, what she does best when pitching well and how she has handled additional responsibilities at the plate this spring.  In addition, Vicknair discusses her decision to begin her collegiate career at the junior college level, her reaction when hearing from South head coach Becky Clark for the first time during the recruiting process and her visit to campus before signing with the program.

The conversation with Vicknair also includes her excitement about going through a graduation ceremony prior to Sunday's noon (CDT) senior day matchup with Georgia Southern and her plans to enter the coaching profession.
