All-Time Series
South Alabama holds a 93-62 all-time lead over New Orleans in a series that dates back to 1970. The Jaguars defeated the Privateers 10-7 on Feb. 28 at Stanky Field. Drew LaBounty went 2-for-3 with a double, one RBI, one run scored, one stolen base and a pair of walks to lead the Jaguars offensively in the win. Left-hander Andy Arguelles allowed four runs on five hits and struck out four with two walks in 2 2/3 innings in the game, but did not factor in the decision. 

Last Time Out
USA swept Louisiana-Monroe in a three-game Sun Belt Conference series last weekend in Monroe, La., after dropping a midweek contest at Southeastern Louisiana last Tuesday. The Jaguar pitching staff surrendered just six runs in the three-game series, while the USA offense averaged over eight runs per contest. 

On UNO
The Privateers took two of three games from Lamar last weekend in New Orleans to move to 17-7 at Maestri Field this season. UNO has won five of its last six games after falling to Lamar in the series finale, which snapped a five-game Privateer winning streak. UNO is hitting .300 as a team, led by John Cable with a .348 batting average in 32 games.

JAGS IN NATIONAL RANKINGS
South Alabama ranks third nationally in walks (188), sixth in runs per game (8.1), eighth in on-base percentage (.414), ninth in runs scored (260) and 18th in home runs (37). 

SWAGGERTY IN NATIONAL RANKINGS
Center fielder Travis Swaggerty leads the SBC and ranks 12th nationally in OBP (.511), and enters Tuesday's contest ranked 22nd nationally in batting average (.400).

JAGS ON THE ROAD
USA is 8-10 on the road this season after sweeping a three-game series at ULM last weekend. The Jags are batting .292 with 33 doubles, two triples, 28 home runs, 120 RBI, 126 runs scored and 17 stolen bases in 18 road contests this season. South Alabama has won three consecutive road games after its three-game sweep at ULM last weekend. 

TWO OR FEWER TO WIN
USA is 9-1 when allowing two or fewer runs, but is 10-12 when surrendering three or more. 

TWO-OUT RBI
Of USA's 236 team RBI, 97 have come with two outs. Travis Swaggerty leads the team with 17 two-out RBI this season.

LEADING AFTER SEVEN
USA is 17-0 when leading after seven innings this season, but is 0-10 when trailing and 1-3 when tied after seven frames. 

JAGS WITH BASES LOADED
South Alabama is hitting .474 (27-for-57) with the bases loaded this season, led by Travis Swaggerty who has five hits and is hitting .714 with the bags full of Jags.

RUNNERS IN SCORING POSITION
The Jags are batting .322 (115-for-357) with runners in scoring position.Travis Swaggerty leads the team with 16 hits with RISP. The Jags hit .333 (13-for-39) with runners in scoring position in last weekend's series at ULM. 

TEN OR MORE RUNS
USA is 9-0 when scoring 10 or more runs this season and 15-4 when scoring six or more, but is 4-9 when scoring five or less. 

HARDY DURING CAREER STREAK
Outfielder Dylan Hardy enters the game with a career-long seven-game hitting streak. Hardy is batting .435 with two doubles, one home run, four RBI, six runs scored and two stolen bases while posting a .481 on-base percentage during that span. He has recorded three multiple-hit games and and two multi-RBI contests during that span. 

HOME RUN PRODUCTION
South Alabama has homered in seven straight games, and in 10 of its last 12 contests dating back to March 18 at Georgia Southern when the Jags homered three times. The Jags homered in every game last week, including four at Southeastern Louisiana and two in the ULM series opener. USA enters Tuesday's contest ranked second in the league and 18th in the nation in home runs (37).

JAG BATS LAST WEEK
South Alabama hit .340 with nine doubles, one triple, eight home runs, 35 RBI, 35 runs scored and seven stolen bases in four games last week, in which it went 3-1. The Jags homered in every game last week, including four at Southeastern Louisiana and two in the ULM series opener. USA has homered in seven consecutive games dating back to the Louisiana-Lafayette series opener. Travis Swaggerty led the squad with a .474 batting average, and also added a double, one home run, seven RBI, three runs scored and two stolen bases along with a .476 on-base percentage in four contetsts.

LABOUNTY'S LAST SIX GAMES
Shortstop Drew LaBounty is batting .429 with one double, three home runs, seven RBI, seven runs scored and two stolen bases while posting a .517 on-base percentage and .905 slugging percentage in his last six games played, dating back to the April 1 conest at Louisiana-Lafayette. LaBounty has hit safely in five of those six contests, four of which have been multiple-hit performances, and has driven in at least one run in all six games during that span including one multi-RBI game which came in last weekend's series-opening win at Louisiana-Monroe. 

HUSTON NAMED SBC PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Left-hander Thomas Huston was named the the Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week on Monday. Huston (4-1) tossed his second complete game of the season in a 4-1 series-clinching win over Louisiana-Monroe Saturday at Warhawk Field. The southpaw allowed one run on seven hits and struck out a career-high nine batters against one walk in a career-high nine innings pitched to earn his fourth win of the season. It marks the first time Huston has earned SBC Pitcher-of-the-Week honors, and the second time this season a Jaguar hurler has earned the distinction after left-hander Zach Melton was named the league's pitcher of the week on Feb. 21. In his last two starts, which came against Louisiana-Lafayette and ULM, Huston has allowed just one run with 15 strikeouts against three walks in 16 innings pitched.
