MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama Department of Athletics has announced plans to pursue external funding in order to construct a cutting-edge practice facility for the men's and women's golf programs.
The facility — which will be constructed at the west end of the driving range at the Robert Trent Jones Magnolia Grove Golf Course — is set to include a 2,000-square-foot house featuring two hitting bays equipped with golf swing analysis cameras as well as men's and women's locker rooms.  The complex will feature a short-game area containing chipping greens, putting greens and a bunker as well.
In addition to providing opportunities to improve for student-athletes in the two programs the complex is expected to aid in future recruiting.
For more information or to get involved in the project, individuals can contact either Jaguar Director of Athletics Dr. Joel Erdmann or Jacob Ludwikowski, Assistant Athletic Director for Athletics Development.
