NEW ORLEANS – The University of South Alabama's Homecoming football contest will get underway at 4 p.m. (CDT) it was announced by the Sun Belt Conference office on Monday.
The Jaguars will play host to Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday, Oct. 21, with the match-up scheduled to be broadcast nationally on ESPN3. Â It is South's only home game of the month, and the only time in October it will play on Saturday.
The visit will be the Warhawks' first to Ladd-Peebles Stadium since USA earned a 36-14 victory on Nov. 23, 2013.
The Jaguars will travel to Troy and the "Battle For The Belt" Wednesday in a contest that can be seen across the country on ESPN2 at 7 p.m. in their last outing prior to Homecoming weekend.
