MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama Department of Athletics announced Monday the formation of the Jaguar Fan Advisory Board (JFAB), a platform for season ticket holders and Jaguar Athletic Fund members to help enhance the fan experience at Jag sporting events.

Applications to become a member of the JFAB will be accepted until Nov. 7 by filling out information at http://jaguarathleticfund.com/JFAB.  Individuals selected will be notified no later than November 10, with the first meeting set for late afternoon on Thursday, Nov. 16.

"The Jaguar Fan Advisory Board has been created to enhance our efforts to connect with Jaguar fans who attend our home contests in all sports regarding their game day experience," said USA Assistant AD for External Relations and Fan Engagement Greg Keel.  "This open form of communication in a small group setting will allow us to hear our fans opinions and ideas as well as to receive feedback about what they want to see at future Jaguar games."

Fans chosen to be part of the board can contribute ideas and provide feedback on numerous topics relating to the fan experience while representing the interests of all Jaguar Fans.  The purpose of the group will be to focusing on upgrading the game day experience for all ticketed sports throughout the year.

Those selected to participate will have the opportunity to attend one or two meetings a year held at exclusive locations on campus, providing an outlet for members to share their opinions and perspectives, and develop recommendations in a focused, small group setting.  The JFAB will be capped at approximately 20 individuals who effectively represent the wide array of Jaguar supporters.
