Head coach Amy Hendrichovsky
- On the returning experience at setter:
"Currently our setting position is highly competitive. We have four setters competing and each of them brings a different personality and style to our court. Emma returns with the most experience in our gym and system. Emma has improved over the last two years because she works hard in the gym and is a very competitive athlete; with that being said, Emma's focus this offseason has been on building her intangibles, she worked to improve the leadership qualities needed in the setting position during the good, bad, and tough moments.  Parker Harrell also returns after contributing to our success in key situations last fall.  Parker's biggest strength is her ability to pull a team together and rally. She is well liked by her teammates and everyone that has the opportunity to know her, Parker also brings a positive presence to the court which is much appreciated and needed throughout a long season."

- On newcomers who add depth at setter:
"Kellyn Reeves has transferred to us after a successful sophomore season running the offense at top ranked Tyler Junior College. What I liked about Kellyn was her ability to force the middle and rightside in the offense as well as her confidence and stability on the court. During the preseason, I have been impressed with her ability to adapt to our system and improve in every skill we have trained her in. Ashlyn Roberts is a fun person to watch play. Ashlyn spent this past spring training with us and earned time on the court, but she has emerged this preseason into the athlete we recruited and enjoyed watching.  She brings a determined energy and has embraced the tempo we are wanting to run with our offense. "
