MOBILE, Ala. – University of South Alabama volleyball head coach Amy Hendrichovsky will hold three summer camps during the month of July.  The camp schedule will open up with the All Skills Camp to be held July 6-8 and will then be followed by the Position Training Camp (July 12-13) and Team Camp (July 14-16) with a Team Tournament scheduled to be held on July 16.

The All Skills Camp is open to individuals enter grades 5-12.  The camp is designed to help young volleyball players receive on-court training in every skill.  Campers will be divided into training groups based on their skill level to ensure a challenging fun experience.  With the focus on all aspects of volleyball, this camp is a must for players training to improve their fundamentals or learn the game for the first time.  

Tuition for the All Skills Camp is $230 and will be held 9 a.m.-4 p.m. all three days.

The second individual volleyball summer camp – the Position Training Camp – is open to individuals entering grades 7-12 and will run 1 p.m.-8 p.m. on the first day with day two scheduled to run 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m.  Tuition for the Position Training Camp is $215 for commuters and $255 for residents.  

The Position Training Camp is designed to be an elite skills camp to help players improve specifically on the aspects involved in their position (setter, libero/defensive specialist, outside hitter, middle hitter).  Campers will train independently with skill instruction for a majority of the camp and come together near the end of camp to participate in combination drills.  Campers will be placed in groups according to age, skill level, and experience.

Hendrichovsky will close out the camp schedule with a three-day team camp this open to freshman, junior varsity and varsity players.  Tuition for the Team Camp is $205 for commuters and $280.  Teams will have one session on the first day and then return for three sessions on the second day before closing out the camp with the Team Tournament held on July 16.

The Team Camp will provide high school teams an opportunity to get team training under the guidance of camp instructors. This includes skills training in the following areas: Offensive and Defensive Systems, Wash Drills, and Team Bonding.

The one-day team tournament that is open to freshman, junior varsity and varsity teams with rosters up to 10 players.  Tuition for the tournament is $350 for one team, $300 for second team and $250 for third team.  

Additional players to each team's roster can be added for a charge of $15 per athlete.

Each team must have at least seven players registered for the camp.  Teams will be grouped for competition with teams of similar experience and ability.  Varsity teams will compete against Varsity teams and Junior Varsity teams against other Junior Varsity teams.

For a refund on any of the camp fees, a written cancellation must be received five days prior to the start of the particular camp. No refunds will be given after that date. The processing fee is also non-refundable.
