NEW ORLEANS – The University of South Alabama will play host to Georgia State at 4 p.m. (CDT) on Saturday, Oct. 29 in its annual football Homecoming game, the Sun Belt Conference office announced Monday.
The match-up between the Jaguars and Panthers at Ladd-Peebles Stadium will be broadcast live across the country on ESPN3.
It's the second time in three years that GSU will be the Jags' Homecoming opponent, with USA winning that contest 30-27 during the 2014 campaign. Â It will be the sixth all-time meeting between the two programs, the most times South has played an opponent.
First, the Jaguars will play host to rival Troy in the "Battle For The Belt" Thursday night, with kickoff on ESPNU set for 6:30 p.m.
