Miscellaneous Notes

-After the second special teams period, Jaguar placekickers Aleem Sunanon and Corliss Waitmain both connected twice on 27-yard field goals, with the two also hitting from 37 and 52 yards out.
-Tight end Gerald Everett led the Jags with four catches during the team period, with Berron Tyson adding a pair of receptions out of the backfield.

-Coaches from Southern University in Baton Rouge was on campus today observing the Jaguar staff both in meetings and during practice.

Head coach Joey Jones
-On Wednesday's practice: "I think there were some good things, but there were also some bad things; I didn't think that was one of our best practices as a team.  Now we had some great things happen individually, I thought some guys got better, but as a whole I didn't think we improved as much as I'd like.  We had some guys feeling sorry for themselves out there today."
-On his goals for the rest of the week: "This is really our final exam for the spring because we practice in shorts and shells next week before the spring game.  We have two more days to get better, we will be evaluating a lot of guys because the pecking order is very important.  We need to have great days the rest of the week."

Up next: Practice 3-5 p.m. Friday at the campus practice fields
