Adrian Vickers sets USA season records with 795 points, a 26.5 point-per-game scoring average and 128 steals en route to becoming the first — and only — Lady Jag to be named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year. With her performance that winter, Vickers ended her career as the all-time leading scorer in South Alabama and conference history with 2,285 points; she also set USA career standards with 1,364 rebounds and 951 field goals, and still ranks second with 257 steals as well as third with 178 blocked shots. A four-time All-American, Vickers had her jersey retired in a pregame ceremony on Feb. 14, 2009.
