MOBILE, Ala. – The South Alabama Track and Field program has announced its 2025 schedule, which consists of five indoor regular season meets, eight outdoor regular season meets, and three competitions hosted by the Jaguars. 

The Jaguars will open their season at the Samford Mulits /Clash on Thursday, Jan. 16, and Friday, Jan.17. South Alabama will head to the land of the Great Lakes as they will compete in the Minnesota Indoor Invite on Jan.24-25. 

South will head to Birmingham to host the USA Indoor Invitational at the Birmingham Crossplex on Saturday, Feb.2. South Alabama will have a split competition on Friday, Feb.14, and they will send athletes to the Music City Invite in Nashville, Tenn., and the Samford Invitational. 

The Jags will return to Birmingham to wrap up its Indoor season at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships on Feb.24-25 before the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Mar 14-15 in Virginia Beach, Va. 

South Alabama will pick things back up in the outdoor season on the same day as they host its second event of the season, the South Alabama Outdoor Invitational; at Jaguar Track on March 14-15. 

The following weekend, the Jaguars will head down the road to compete in the Lurline Struppeck Invitational hosted by LSU on Saturday, March 22. South will then head to rivals for the Southern Miss Invitational and the Raleigh Relays on March 28-30. 

USA will travel to the Joe Walker Invitational hosted by Ole Miss on April 4-5, before returning to in-state action in the Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on April 11-12. 

The Jaguars will have a busy end to the outdoor regular season. South Alabama will be sending athletes to the Long Beach Invitational and Bryan Clay Invitational in Los Angeles, Calif. on April 17-19. 

South Alabama hosts it's final regular season meet on Sunday, April 27 at Jaguar Track. 

James Madison will host the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track and Field finals on May 8-10. The First of the NCAA's will be held in Jacksonville, Fla on May 28-31, and the NCAA Outdoor Championships will be in Eugene, Ore on June 11-14.
