MOBILE, Ala.| The department of athletics is excited to host its 2023 South Alabama Fall Fan Fest event on Saturday, August 12 as the Jags gear up for the start of the 2023-24 season. The Fan Fest event will be held at Hancock Whitney Stadium from 1-3 p.m. with the Jaguar women's soccer team hosting Auburn last that evening at The Cage with a 6 p.m. kickoff. 

The event will include all fall sports.

The Fan Fest event is slated to begin with a "Yard Sale", which will be held in the Core Industries Lounge. Fans will have an opportunity to purchase authentic Jaguar gear, such as uniforms, team apparel, etc. The Jaguar Marching Band is scheduled to perform at 1:30 p.m., and will be followed by an appearance from both the cheerleaders and Prowlers. 

Coaches and athletic director Joel Erdmann are scheduled to address fans at 2 p.m. Fans will then have a 45-minute opportunity to get autographs and photos with their favorite Jaguar players and coaches in an area located behind the student section seating area.

Fans will also be able to access the field at this time.

Later that evening, fans can then venture over to The Cage as the Jaguar soccer team welcomes in-state foe Auburn for a 6 p.m. exhibition match.

2023 Fan Fest Schedule
1:00 – Yard Sale Opens (Core Industries Lounge)
1:30 – Jaguar Marching Band Performance
1:45 – South Alabama Cheer and Prowlers
2:00 – Coaches and Athletic Director Joel Erdmann 
2:15 – Autographs, Photos with the team, and field opens for access (Behind the Student Section Seating Area)
3:00 – Event Concludes
6:00 – South Alabama Soccer vs. Auburn at The Cage
