MOBILE, Ala. - The University of South Alabama softball team will have to wait a few more days to open the home portion of its 2021 schedule as Tuesday night's game versus McNeese State at Jaguar Field has been rescheduled due to weather issues and travel concerns.
The two teams will now face each other on Wed., March 31 at 5 p.m. at Jaguar Field.
South Alabama (1-2) will now open home competition this weekend when the Jags face Lipscomb (3:45 p.m.) and Illinois-Chicago (6 p.m.) on Friday.
Tickets for the 2021 softball season are sold out/at capacity due to social distancing guidelines and 25% maximum capacity allowed at Jaguar Field. Current season tickets holders and home and visitor pass lists will be the only allowed admittance during the season.
