Tyrone Dixon was a four year letter winner for Coach Steve Kittrell and the South Alabama baseball program. Dixon, a native of Grand Bay, Ala., ranks second all-time leader in career games played with 230, second in hits with 248, third in walks with 128 and is the all-time leader in career steals with 125. He also holds the all-time record for at bats with 792, while holding the career doubles mark with 54. An all-region and all-conference pick in 1991, Dixon batted .391 with 30 RBI. He was also a two-time all-Sun Belt Conference member.
