Steffi Hardy helped develop South Alabama Soccer into one of the most dominant programs in the Sun Belt Conference as the group captured four-straight regular-season league tournament titles to go with four-consecutive NCAA tournament appearances. She earned First Team All-Sun Belt Conference honors during the 2014, 2015 and 2017 seasons, as well as All-Tournament honors as a senior. Hardy was named the SBC Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore as the team tied for first in the league in shutouts and was second in goals allowed and goals against average. Over that same four-year stretch, she helped South Alabama compile 68 wins and a .768 winning percentage, while posting a dominant 33-4-1 Sun Belt Conference record. During her four seasons, South Alabama shut out 42 of its 89 opponents. As a senior, she was part of a defense which recorded eight shutouts, including all three opponents at the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
