A three-year letter winner, Mulhern is the school’s all-time leader with 49 home runs; he also ranks fourth with 180 RBI, is tied for fourth with 51 doubles and stands fifth with 230 hits. He’s one of five players in the program’s history to hit 20 or more home runs in a season, accomplishing the feat as a junior in 2003, while his 67 RBI that spring also remain on the school’s season record list. Mulhern was selected third-team All-America following each of his final two seasons by American Baseball Coaches Association, earning first-team all-region honors from the organization every year. Mulhern was voted to the Sun Belt Conference’s 30th Anniversary All-Time Baseball Team, selected first-team all-conference in 2002 and ’03, and was chosen the Most Outstanding Player of the 2001 Sun Belt Tournament.
