A native of Satsuma, Ala., Chambless was one of the early stars of Jaguar baseball. He currently holds the single-season record for Earned Run Average with a mark of 0.48. He also holds the career mark for complete games and share the all-time single-season complete-game mark with 13. He is third all-time with 27 wins and innings pitched with 306. During his time with the Jags he recorded 291 career strikeouts, third-most in USA history.
