In 12 full seasons plus parts of two others, Arrow guided the Jaguar basketball program to a 211-161 record overall and 126-48 mark in Sun Belt Conference play. A three-time SBC Coach of the Year selection, he is the school’s all-time leader in both total and league wins, and held the conference record for victories at the time of his retirement. Arrow led the Jaguars to their only NCAA Tournament victory — an 86-84 decision over Alabama — in the first round of the 1989 event, as USA would finish the season 23-9 after falling to eventual national champion Michigan in the second round. He brought USA back to the NCAA Tourney two seasons later, as the Jags would go 22-9 after winning both the SBC regular-season and tournament championships, and led the Jaguars to a school season-record 26 wins — including a 16-2 mark to claim the SBC East Division crown — while earning an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament in 2007-08. During his time at the helm of the program, Arrow guided the Jags to two SBC regular-season championships, a pair of league tournament titles and one regular-season division crown while he had 13 individuals earn all-Sun Belt honors on 18 occasions.
