Greg Jones made a huge impact on the Jaguar golf program both as a player and as a coach… As a player Jones lettered at USA from 1985-1987, winning four tournaments… Jones finished his career with a 73.6 stroke average and qualified for the 1986 NCAA Championships as an individual… He is a member of the Sun Belt Conference’s 30th Anniversary All-Time Men’s Golf Team… As a coach, Jones led USA to five Sun Belt Conference titles and two NCAA Championship appearances… He was named SBC Coach of the Year four times and had individuals selected to the all-conference team on 18 occasions… Jones also coached future PGA Tour member Heath Slocum.
