Rosseau was selected first-team All-America and all-region his final season as a Jaguar by the American Baseball Coaches Association after leading the team with both a .390 batting average and a then-school-record 34 stolen bases. He recorded a team-best .350 average his first year with the program, and at the time of his induction was ranked sixth on the school’s career record list after batting .369 over two seasons. In his time at South, Rosseau helped the Jags go 69-17 overall while becoming the first program in school history to reach No. 1 in the national polls during the 1972 campaign. He was part of a team that finished 36-8 after advancing to the championship game of the District 3 Regional in its first-ever NCAA postseason appearance as a junior, and the following year his efforts helped the Jaguars to a 33-9 mark and a berth in the district tournament.
