Eddie Carvacho played for Coach Roy Patton’s men soccer team from 1987 to 1990, during that period the Jags were 65-14-4 (83% winning percentage). A native of Vina Del Mar, Chile, he was names Met Life Second-Team All-America goalkeeper in 1990 and was a two-time invitee for the US Marlboro Cup Team. Carvacho led the South Region with an incredible 0.55 goals against average in 1989. He ranks second in the single-season shutouts with 11 in 1989. Carvacho was a four-time all-Sun Belt Conference member and owns the school’s career shutout mark with 32; saves mark with 266, games played 77 and goals against average (0.88).
