Devin Brown earned first-team All-Sun Belt Conference honors during all four of her seasons playing for South Alabama Softball, becoming the first player in program history to do so. She ended her career with 932 strikeouts, ranking fourth all-time in the category among Sun Belt Conference pitchers, fourth in career shutouts and sixth in career saves. She was named the Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week, a then program-record 12 times during her Jaguar career, taking home the honor five times during her sophomore season. Her 324 strikeouts during the 2016 season set a single-season record, and she led the club in the category each of her four seasons. She also led the nation in strikeout-to-walk ratio during the 2016 season. She led the Jags to a 40-win season, the Sun Belt tournament title and an appearance at the Auburn Regional as a freshman, and entered the circle in relief in the 2015 Sun Belt Conference Championship game and picked up the win, shutting out Louisiana, 2-0. She earned NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete honors each of her first two seasons and was twice named to the Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s List and twice named to the league’s academic honor roll.
