In just two seasons with the program, Tilley was a four-time Sun Belt Conference champion who earned all-league accolades on nine occasions and ended his career the holder of five school records including a pair — in the indoor (21.11) and outdoor (20.71) 200 meter dashes — that still stood at the time of his induction. He won the 200 meters at the 2000 conference indoor championship while placing second in the 55-meter dash just .01 second behind the winner, going on to post NCAA Provisional Qualifying marks in both the 100 and 200 meters during the outdoor campaign highlighted by winning the latter event at the Sun Belt Conference Championship. As a senior, Tilley won the 55 meters, tied for first in the 200-meter dash and was part of the victorious 4x400-meter relay team at the league indoor meet as he ended the winter competing at the NCAA Indoor Championship in the 200 meters, also earning all-conference honors in both the 100- and 200-meter dashes at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championship that spring with times that missed provisionally qualifying for the national championship by hundredths of a second. At the time of his induction, Tilley was still ranked on South’s all-time performance list in five different indoor and outdoor events.
