One of the University of South Alabama’s most talented soccer players ever… A four-time all-Sun Belt Conference selection at forward (1981 and 1982) and at midfielder (1983 and 1984) and was just the second player ever to claim that distinction… Was also South Alabama’s “most valuable player” four seasons… Set records for most goals in a season, most assists in a season, most goals in a career, most assists in a career… Went on to play soccer professionally with the New York Express in the Major Indoor Soccer League… He set high standards in the classroom, as well, and received an NCAA post-graduate scholarship… Recipient of the Dr. Fredrick P. Whiddon Award in 1985.
