Fowler earned all-Sun Belt Conference recognition each of her four seasons with the program, highlighted by being named the league’s Player of the Year as well as first-team all-region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association following her senior year.  South’s all-time leader in runs scored (162), runs batted in (136), triples (10), extra-base hits (69), on-base percentage (.465) and multiple-RBI games (33) at the time of her induction, she led the team in batting average — never hitting below .340 — as well as triples and on-base percentage three years.  After earning second-team all-conference honors each of her first two seasons, Fowler was chosen second-team all-Sun Belt in 2012 and then was voted to the league’s all-tournament team after hitting a three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning to lead the Jaguars to 3-1 win over No. 6 Louisiana in championship game as South made its first-ever NCAA Regional appearance.  As a senior, Fowler batted a team-high .366 with 56 hits, 53 runs scored, eight home runs and 32 RBI — ranking in the top 10 of five statistical categories in the SBC — while helping the Jaguars to a 48-9 finish after hosting an NCAA Regional for the first time ever as a national top 16 seed.
