Adrian Vickers, a Florala, Ala. Native/was a four-year starter the Lady Jags and a four-time All-Sun Belt Conference selection during her career. She ended her career as the Lady Jag’s all-time leading scorer with 2,285, career points and also tops the schools mark in rebounds with 1,364. As a freshman, Vickers was named to the Freshman All-American team and earned All-American honors each of the next three seasons. She is the only player in school history to average 15 or more points per game all four seasons that she played at USA. Vickers also holds the single-game record at South Alabama for points in a game with 45 scored versus Alaska-Anchorage on Feb. 2, 1990. She led USA to its best four-season record (83-38) in school history, including two 20-win seasons. During the 1986-87 season, Vickers helped lead the Lady Jags to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearances with 24-6 record. As a senior she became the first Lady Jag to be named Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year.
