Plunkett led the Jaguars at the Fighting Irish Classic hosted by Notre Dame with a career-best 2-under-par 211 total over 54 holes, tying for 26th individually in a field of 84 competitors.  The freshman shot par or better in all three rounds of the tournament, including posting a career-low 2-under-par 69 in the afternoon on the opening day of play, with his efforts helping the Jags to post their two lowest scores of the fall with a 282 in the second round followed by a 7-under-par 277 over the final 18 holes.
