Moss led USA with a .538 batting average at the Mardi Gras Invitational, going 7-for-13 with four RBI, two doubles and her first homer of the season. The Birmingham, Ala., native’s average went up successively in each game of the tournament, where she recorded seven runs, seven hits, four RBI and two-multiple-base hits. Last season, Moss scored only nine runs and had 11 hits total. The junior now owns a .591 slugging percentage and .391 on-base percentage.
