STATESBORO, Ga. – The University of South Alabama baseball team's Sun Belt Conference Tournament opener against No. 6 seed Troy has been re-scheduled for an 8 a.m. (CT) first pitch on Friday at J.I. Clements Stadium. 

The game was originally scheduled for 8 a.m. (CT) Wednesday, but inclement weather and field conditions forced tournament officials to delay the start.

The Sun Belt Conference released the updated tournament schedule below, which has been switched to a single-elimination format:

Game 1 – 2 p.m. – No. 10 Georgia State vs. No. 7 Arkansas State
Game 2 – 5:30 p.m. – No. 9 Little Rock vs. No. 8 Texas State

Fri., May 26
Game 3 – 8 a.m. – No. 6 Troy vs. No. 3 South Alabama
Game 4 – 11:30 a.m. – Round 1 winner (higher seed) vs. No. 2 Texas-Arlington
Game 5 – 3 p.m. – Round 1 winner (lower seed) vs. No. 1 Coastal Carolina
Game 6 – 6:30 p.m. No. 5 Georgia Southern vs. No. 4 Louisiana-Lafayette

Sat., May 27
Game 7 – 2 p.m. – Game 3 winner vs. Game 4 winner
Game 8 – 5:30 p.m. – Game 5 winner vs. Game 6 winner

Sun., May 28 
Game 9 – noon – Game 7 winner vs. Game 8 winner
